01 - What It Is
Residential epoxy is a seamless resin system bonded to a properly prepared concrete garage floor. We use high-build epoxy with a polyaspartic or urethane topcoat for UV stability and abrasion resistance, with decorative flake finishes available - so the floor is cleanable, bright, and stands up to tires, oil, and everyday garage use.
02 - When It's Necessary
Coat a residential garage floor when bare concrete is dusty, stained, or pitting; when the garage is being finished or the home is being prepped for sale; or when you want a clean, durable surface that's easy to sweep and maintain. Existing painted or sealed floors need evaluation first - coatings only bond to sound, properly prepped concrete.
03 - What's Required
A lasting residential coating depends on preparation: mechanical diamond grinding to open the concrete, moisture testing to rule out vapour issues, crack and joint repair, and correct curing temperature and humidity. We apply primer, build coats, and topcoat in sequence with the right cure windows - skipped prep is the single biggest reason coatings fail, so we don't skip it.
